Ideal Italia

Using the same scanned image of Italy as used in the idealitalia index illustration, this piece was broken down into individual regions by manually tracing around each region boundary in Photoshop. Completed regions were placed into their own layer and coloured accordingly. Finally, text was added and, in some cases, distorted to fit the curvature of the corresponding region.
